Owen Hughes Chicago IL Death: Over the past year, I have been diligently working on my scouting journey with the goal of achieving the highest rank of Eagle Scout. This accomplishment has taken a lot of dedication, hard work, and perseverance, but I am now on the verge of reaching the final step. I am excited to share that I am ready to begin my Eagle Scout project, which will not only serve as a major milestone in my scouting career but also provide a meaningful contribution to my community.
For my Eagle Scout project, I will be building a footbridge over a stream in a local park in our town. The bridge will make the area more accessible and safer for visitors who enjoy the natural beauty of the park. Alongside the footbridge, I will also be improving a section of the trail to better funnel travelers toward the bridge, ensuring that it will be an easy and safe passage for all who use it.
However, completing this project requires funds, and I am reaching out to my community for support. In order to make this project a reality, I am planning a fundraiser to cover the costs of materials and labor. One of the ways I will be fundraising is by selling chocolate to friends at my school, as well as to anyone else who would like to support me and my project. Any contribution, big or small, would go a long way in helping me complete this project and achieve my goal of becoming an Eagle Scout.
