Kasey Fox Detroit MI Death:It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Kasey Fox, who was taken from us too soon on April 12, 2025, in a tragic accident on Hwy 22. Kasey was 40 years old and, in his time with us, he lived a life full of adventure, love, and an unyielding commitment to making the world a better place for everyone around him.
Kasey was a cornerstone of the Detroit community, known to everyone as a vibrant force of energy and kindness. His signature neon pink and yellow attire were as bright as his personality, and you could always find him down at the docks with his two loyal dogs, Jazz and Roxy, by his side. He had a special way of making everyone feel seen, heard, and valued. His infectious laughter, warm heart, and willingness to help anyone in need will be remembered by all who knew him.
A true Renaissance man, Kasey was a master of many things. Whether it was boating, wakeboarding, water skiing, jet skiing, skateboarding, or tree work, Kasey approached everything with the same passion and enthusiasm. He thrived on adventure and was always up for a challenge, especially if it meant helping others or sharing in a moment of fun. His friends and family knew him as a thrill-seeker, an energetic storyteller, and someone who lived life to its fullest. His courage and zest for life left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Kasey’s greatest gift, however, was his heart. He had a heart of gold, always ready to lend a hand, rescue a stranded boat, retrieve lost floats, or simply brighten someone’s day with a laugh. No matter the task or the time of day, Kasey was the person you could count on to show up. Whether it was a late-night phone call, a helping hand at the docks, or just a friendly chat, he made life better for those around him.
At just 40 years old, Kasey had already lived a lifetime. His energy, warmth, and love for life made him a beloved son, brother, and friend. He is survived by his mother, Renee; his father, Mark; his sister, Jenna, who mourns the loss of her “punkin”; and a wide circle of friends and family who loved him dearly. Kasey’s love for his family was immeasurable, and his loss is felt deeply by all who knew him.
Though Kasey’s time with us was far too brief, the mark he left on this world will never fade. His legacy of kindness, laughter, and generosity will continue to live on in the countless lives he touched. He was truly one of a kind, and he will be missed beyond words.A memorial service will be held on the last weekend of May to honor Kasey’s life and legacy. We know the love you shared with Kasey was immeasurable, and our hearts break alongside yours as you mourn the loss of your son and brother.
